Truly one of the finest western galleries in Colorado. We pride ourselves on the extensive display of Art of the New West by local artists whose work has expanded globally. We provide premium pieces including pottery, sculpture, home decor and outdoor art, all of which uniquely capture the wild spirit of the West.

Our gallery fits perfectly into the historic atmosphere of Golden, Colorado. Once upon a time, this was where Ute, Arapaho, and Cheyenne tribes roamed. Pioneers flocked to Golden, which was once the territorial capitol of Colorado, during the Gold Rush in 1859. At Spirits in the Wind Gallery, our gallery and pieces value this culture and atmosphere that has been established throughout Golden’s past.

 DOWNTOWN GOLDEN
Within the downtown district: Washington Avenue where Spirits in the Wind Gallery location is centered, you will find 5 coffee shops to include Starbucks. Up to 20 restaurants, deli’s, ice cream shops reside in the downtown district.   If you like beer, you’ll love Golden. In addition to being home to the largest single-site brewery in the world – MillerCoors – Golden is home to six craft beer breweries also offering tours, beer tastings and including distilleries.
The streets of historic downtown Golden are lined with an assortment of one-of-a-kind shops, recreation outfitters, music clubs, fine dining restaurants, breweries, distilleries, cafes and taverns, making it one of the most fun and interesting towns on the Front Range with delicious food and drink, and outstanding shopping.

Gateway Station, exclusive residences is one of many penthouse living in the downtown district which is within the same block of Spirits in the Wind Gallery. Downtown Golden continues to grow with new office space, condominiums and parking structures.

ANNUAL VISITORS

Parents, students,as well as, tourists visit Colorado School of Mines throughout the year visiting the campus and geological museum. Classes are in attendance year round of all ages from around the world who purchase on their return home.

Coors/ Molson Brewery is located in Golden. Tours buses take the tourists through downtown Golden and a free tour is offered with tastings. Approximately 360,000 tourists from all over the world visit annually and frequent downtown Golden daily.
